The Story of McCakers

I’m Connie and I am the baker behind Mccakers. I founded McCakers in lockdown of 2020 after moving back from Edinburgh to Galloway. Having left a left a job as a head baker just before lockdown and eagerly awaiting to start a new job as a pastry chef it was only natural to fill my time with…CAKE!

 

 Momentum quickly built and once weddings were back in full swing, it wasn’t long before McCakers could become a fully-fledged business providing all sorts of baked goods across the region.

 

My work in many different areas of the hospitality sector has given me a fantastic insight into what customers really want when it comes to their celebration cakes. As a result of this, I am more than happy for you to take the creative lead on your dream cake or, if you would rather, I can offer recommendations on design and flavours and ensure the perfect cake for your occasion.
